Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa (5895 metres) and the highest free-standing mountain in the world – standing alone just like a mushroom or an umbrella. Despite, being the highest in Africa and among the seven summits in the world Mt. Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s most accessible high summits, with higher success rate of climbers reaching the peak (Uhuru Peak – 5895 metres) without any technical assistance.
A trek up to the top of Kilimanjaro has proved to be one of the most rewarding and incredible experiences that our guests have experienced. Time after time, their comments upon their return are filled with a combination of awe, exhaustion, wonder and delight! Our climbers also are so pleased with our crew of guides and porters and how helpful and spirited they are, and our cooks that create a bounty of fresh, tasty meals that fuel your body for your extreme exertion. We can handle most special menu requests (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, food allergies, etc.). Our guides are Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certified, trained in high levels of first aid and will be monitoring you all the way up the mountain, checking your oxygen levels, pulse and blood pressure a couple times daily.

Whiskerspot Adventure Safari offers both specialized climbs and group climbs. A specialized climbs can begin any day of the year, using any route with any number of participants. Each specialized group has the option of keeping the group closed or allowing others to join. We will never add people to a specialized climb without consent of the group.
