Today's trek leads you through the moorland, gradually leaving the rainforest behind. Ascend to Horombo Hut, situated at 3,720 meters. The landscape opens up, offering expansive views of Kilimanjaro's slopes and the surrounding plains. Accommodation: Horombo Hut

Journey through the alpine desert to Kibo Hut at 4,700 meters, the final base before the summit push. The air becomes thinner as you approach the upper reaches of the mountain. Rest and prepare for the challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak. Accommodation: Kibo Hut

Start the summit attempt in the early hours, reaching Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, the highest point in Africa. Witness the sunrise over the vast landscapes. Descend back to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest. Accommodation: Horombo Hut

Descend through the moorland and rainforest, concluding your trek at Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificates and reflect on the incredible journey. The Marangu Route provides a shorter but rewarding adventure on the majestic Kilimanjaro.
